Dreamy layers!

Just wanted to do a quick scan-and-post, because I fell in love the second I saw this editorial in Lucky's January issue.  I think there's something to "always wanting what you can't have."  I find I'm always drawn to a style that I usually am not able to easily pull-off/put together.  I.E. the mismatched layers style in this editorial.  Anyway, on to the scans!

Gorgeous, right?  Dressy with casual.  Plaid with stripes.  How do they do it?
